Who will the most affected if the illegal "aliens" are deported? of course the Americans!
They need these illegal aliens to do the jobs they don't want to do, such as cleaning their house. Even though Americans claim that these illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, they are totally wrong because these aliens need to eat, pay rent and be dressed. America has taxes in everything except cooked meals. Therefore when they shopped they pay sales taxes. Meaning they still help the government gain money because they don't receive money back each year for what they have worked or spended like Americans do. Another thing is that illegal aliens were the birth of the variety of cultures in America. Do you really think that Americans will be eating Chinese food, pastelitos, burritos and many other variety of meals if the illegal aliens would have never stepped a foot in the US? No that is your answer. Why support deportation, when in the long run you are the ones that are going to suffer, either from an econ,mic drop or lack of variety. This picture is a shame. Americans have their rights and oppotunities is not like these aliens are going to take it away from them, so why promote and waiste your time in stupidity!

Child Citizen Protection Act or Act-Hr 182 is an act that puts into priority the future of American children with illegal parents.
"Roxroy Salmon, a Brooklyn father of five and community leader, is fighting deportation. His is not the first case and, unfortunately, it won't be the last”. (Ruiz) Deportation is a heart wrenching method that is causing family separations. Fortunately Salmon is not alone and is fighting to keep his family together and to prevent denial of rights to his legal children.
Immigration judges are not permitted to balance family unity against deportation requirements. In many cases, this has led to one or both parents of child citizens being deported. These parents must leave the child behind or take the child to a country foreign to them. With that in mind, Serrano introduced the Child Citizen Protection Act, which would allow immigration judges to take family situations like Salmon's into account during deportation proceedings. The child citizen protection act is a good way to try and lose some weight on the punishment of these illegal parents and their children, who have no fault in their parent’s decisions.
Two immigrant rights groups, Families for Freedom and the NY New Sanctuary Coalition are urging Congress to consider Serrano's bill immediately, and incorporate judicial discretion into ongoing discussions on comprehensive immigration reform. "In allying ourselves with Roxroy, faith communities are truly standing for the 'family values' we claim to profess as a nation," said Rabbi Michael Feinberg, a member of NY New Sanctuary Coalition. "We must strive to keep families and communities together in the face of a broken immigration system”. I have the same opinion as these groups and people because in an ethical view the world is changing and families are naturally becoming apart, so we should save a bit of family unity by developing a comprehensive immigration reform.
These families have something in common, children who are legal and are suffering for something they did not do. Children are the future of our planet, therefore for them we have to fight and protect. Now in a political point of view Immigration is increasing, many contribute to our economy and take advantage of opportunities the country gives them, such as education. Immigrants are a big population, which in a president’s mind means more votes. So why not give legal status to the illegal immigrants that have practically lived their lives in the US. But the best solution is combining both views and gaining a better and non heartless technique to deal with illegal immigrants.
This image has much to say. The signs shown "free lemonade", "free education", "free health care", and "jobs" Is the main reason of why illegal immigrants are atracted to the U.S.A. The United States is known for its opportunities and therefore can't blame these immigrants for wanting the same oppotunities as Americans have. Now the huge sign that says "U.S.A Keep Out" shows the hypocracy of America. Isn't America the land of the free. The land of opportunities! Than why enforce so many actions to pevent these mottos. Is not the land of the free is you come into America and than be arrested and deported. Is not the land of Opportunities if a segment of people don't receive them or they were denied from them. America prevents over population which I understand, but Some of the deported people are also Americans. The children of these illegal parents have only the moral choice to leave with their parents and forget about their homeland, the U.S.A. These children only know about the American culture, and yet they are still punished either with the separation of their families or the denied of their rights.
This short video has big numbers. Is suprising how many illegal immigrants the Homeland of Security office has described as being deported. But the worst part is that these undocumented have US children. Agencies spoke women Barbara Gonzalez states "Parenthood does not excemt any person from complying with the nations law, including immigration law". Gonzalez ones again demonstates the biased and selfish side of the Americans. I believe that they wouldn't like to be told that if they were in the illegal parents position. Instead of trying to solve these issues, by this quote it tells me that Americans just say "well this is the law so deal with it" They don't want to waste there time creating a new and better immigration reform.
On the contrary Representative Jose Serrano of New York quotes "I am saddened, but not surprised to learn that our government, in its harsh anti-immigrant stance, has split hundreds of thousands of families apart over the pass decade" This quote shows that Serrano looks at the ethical side of the issue. He cares about family unity, which makes me think that he was raised in a very united family. I agree with Serrano in that it is not suprissing. The government is desperate to limit illegal immigrants, that they will do anything even separate families to accomplish their goal. This makes me feel sad of being part of such a hert wrenching government!

Deportation is not only having a negative impact on children it also impacts the US economy.Deportation of illegal immigrants is very expensive for the US economy.
Senator Susan M. Collins, Republican, of Maine, was told by Julie L. Myers, chief of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement that the cost of trying to locate, detain and deport all of the 12 million people who are here illegally is minimum $94 billion. Congress’s budget is $205 billion for everything in the US, which requires them to cut the budgets of other programs.These are the types of information the government needs to take into consideration before making any immigration reform or passing any new laws. Illegal immigrants need to be punish for breaking the laws but there must be a more affordable method that does not deal with separating families and cutting useful programs, such as proving more financial support for health care and education.

This poem shows how greedy Americans are. Is ironic how Rachael Lund Says "Don't tell us about starving babies or children that sleep on the streets we don't want to see the famine or hear about the world's needs for you see we're way too busy living the "American Dream". In simple irony she lets us know that Americans are too busy living their lives to care about others, which relates to the technique used to punish undoucumented lawbreakers. Deportation also contributes to American's greediness. I am not saying all Americans are greedy, but the majority that believe and fallow the American dream, they are. They do not care if these illegal parents have kids, nor do they care that these undocumented's legal children suffer from hunger, depression, sadness, abuse or any negative damage possible. All they ever care is about themselves. To think about a method that separates families and hurts legal children is cruel and selfish.
Americans, who support deportation as the only method to punish undocumented immigrants for breaking the laws, should feel ashamed of the outcomes it has on these families. I as an American citizen feel a terrible weight in my conscience knowing that this child is suffering because of our American laws. This child seems to be proud to be an American because he carries in his mouth our US flag. Now doesn't that bother you to know that although his parents are being taken away from him because of us the Americans, he still wants to be one. The United States is known for its American dream and its unity, therefore it should regulate its laws to do so.
The kid has a sign both in English and in Spanish saying "Don't leave me alone" is a message he is trying to send out to million of children that are going through the same situation and to billions of Americans that have no sympathy for illegal immigrants families. Is disappointing to know that these kids are raised with the American customs and yet are not considered worthy enough to have a happy and united family. I really don’t believe that Americans that are parents would like their children to suffer in the same way these legal US born children with illegal parents are suffering. Is that the example we are trying to transmit to our present and future generation!
This picture shows a little girl who is suffering with the fear that her parents will be deported and she will be separated from them. She is raising a sign that says “PleaseDon’t Split up My Family” those are few words but with a lot of meaning. Deportation is the cause of this little girl’s worries. Shouldn’t children be happy and have no worries? Well this is not the case when it comes to having illegal parents that are at risk of being deported. Americans who have decided that deportation is the hilarious way to make illegal immigrants pay for coming to the US undocumented, seen to overlook the consequences it has on their children. These undocumented are human beings just like they are, so why did it never occur to them that this group of people also have families. But they don’t just have ordinary kids they have US born kids. It breaks my heart looking at this sad girl, who has no fault about her parent’s decisions, and is suffering because of her country’s laws and methods to execute them. She drew a crying face and a broken heart representing her feelings. Is very touching how she pleads for her family’s unity. Personally I feel that this picture talks for every child that is going through a similar case. Is very heart breaking to see that they are suffering. Deportation is only splitting up these families. Is that what Americans want?
This video shows the importance of family unity in a children's life and about one of the main reasons illegal parents break the American law. By telling a little about Dora's parents life and her's before being at risk of deportation, the publisher who called himself "DoctorTroncoso" makes me realize that these parents came behind the American Dream. They want a better future for their child. When Dora's parents came they were very young and became hard workers. Soon they adopted the American culture and learned how to produce crops for America. They did not come to America to sabotage our culture or economy, instead they came to make progress in their lives and helped make growth in our economy.
When the publisher adds that Dora was a very respectful and nature loving child to me he is trying to let us know that she was very happy before her parents went in custody. He uses the word "was" butting significance in the statement, showing that is was the pass and that the present is a different story. Dora's parents never told her they were illegal immigrants. That to me is very noble of them, Dora would have been sad. But what makes what they did significance is when the publisher says illegal immigrants in this county, her country"and then adds that she was proud of being bilingual. This is important because it shows that her parents did not want to take any of her proudness away from her.
At the end of the video the publisher does something very persuasive, he adds many questions that we as human ask ourselves after listening to a case like Dora's. Does Dora have any fault? Does Dora have to stay in the United States? Can Dora be adopted by an American Family? and Will Dora's family be deported? Many US born children are going through the same situation as Dora. These children risk being deported with their parents, which denies them their legal rights as Americans. They also risk being adopted to another family without realizing the negative affects it has on them. These children suffer from this method. Deportation causes a heart wrenching affect on the lives of these families and this is why the government needs a better immigration reform. The parents suffer if they leave their child behind, and also regret not thinking about their child's future if they decide to take them with them. As Americans we should have sympathy for these children because they are also Americans. These families should always be united, just like our country the United States of America.
Deportation of illegal parents is something that is affecting the lives of illegal immigrants but also the future of their legal children. Eight years ago I had a best friend named Mary. She was American, but her parents were illegal immigrants from Dominican Republic. My friend’s parents cross the border to the United States in1990, in search of opportunities. A year later they had her. Mary’s parents were very hard workers and had never committed a crime. Unfortunately they were discovered. On a trip to Philadelphia her father was driving a pass the limit speed. He was stopped by the police and was asked for identification. But he had none. Therefore they were arrested and deported. Mary’s mom had a sister who is a legal immigrant. Her aunt was given custody of Mary. I never saw Mary again since she moved to Philadelphia with her aunt. Deportation of undocumented parents is the wrong method to punish them for breaking the American law, since it affects the US economy and the lives of their American children socially, physically. The US government decided to penalize these lawbreakers by separating them from their families, and it is this penalization that has led to the psychological, physiological and sociological negative effects on the children. Deportation causes two main issues the economic impact it has on the US citizens and the ethical affect it has on the separation of Immigrant families. My goal in creating this blog is to let the American people, the US government and these illegal parents that an immigration reform needs to be done. My position is to support the idea of a new method to punish these lawbreakers, but by using a method that is ethical and affordable. Creating laws like the Child Protection Act, which is an act that allows immigration judges to use discretion and halt the deportation of a parent of a child who is a US citizen, can be of a help to solve this issue. Hopefully this blog can be a guide to many illegal parents that live with fear and believe they have no hope.
